Last week, some girlfriends and I took our girls to get manis and pedis. Yes.... seriously! It was rediculously adorable and completely enjoyable. The idea came about when the three of us were getting a much needed pedicure after school one day and decided that we should take our girls to get one.
We (Karen and Amanda, Carolyn and Ari, and of course Zoe and me) first went to Islands for some good eats... I haven't been there since before they charged separately for fries, and it was delish!
Then we headed over to a nail place that let the little girls... 4 and 5 years old....get almost actual spa pedicures... and they threw in a mani to boot!

Within about 5 minutes of getting her nails done, Zoe had totally ruined both her toes and fingers.... not sure how, but they were shot. And while we were getting our nails done, the girls... who were totally done... were completely entertained by a large fishtank. We totally forgot to bring something for them to do, but it worked out in the end.
